Western lawmakers, including Governor Mark Gordon (R, Wyo.) and Sen. John Barasso (R, Wyo.) pushed for reform of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) at a hearing on Wednesday, arguing states should have greater authority in recovering endangered species.
